It was that time of year once again.. the annual FC picnic and memebership drive! A great excuse for me to slip on the purple stuff and shed all over everyone. In my excitement, I completely forgot to sign up for membership. Damn... so much for the FC discount. I'll just pick it up at the regular price later. *grin*

Anthrocon 2001 - July 26th-28th

Ahh, much fun was had at Anthrocon this year... I spent entirely too much time running around as the purple guy, sweating up a storm, and loving every moment of it. This certainly is an addiction.. I was on enough andrenaline to power a football team through a championship season. It was a complete blast! Perhaps I'll put a con report together soon..

Things have been damned crazy lately. I've finally finished moving into the new closet.. er.. place, and am now getting bombarded by stuff from my 'real job', so my spare time has seriously been lacking. I did actually have a couple of moments to work on my feet this weekend.. finally.. augh. The DizzyCat now has fuzzy blue toes, with bare foam feet. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish the last bits on my trip down to L.A. next weekend.. assuming I don't get caught at work.

Memorial day weekend was quite a blast, as I had a chance to wear the big purple guy around at BayCon, the local SciFi convention. The dances weren't as great as last year due to a bit of last minute policy changes and a lame wedding DJ that only had a collection of Depeche Mode music.. but that didn't stop me from having a helluva lot of fun. I had a fursuit hangover the next morning... several hours of sweating in fur tends to dehydrate and tire me enough that I pay for it the next day. Eeep!

Assuming I get a chance to return home this weekend, I'll bring ol' bluetoes down to LA and bother some of the locals with large piles of purple silliness. I can't wait! Yay!

I haven't made many updates lately, so I thought I'd just scribble something to give the state of dizzy's world. I've been REALLY busy lately, doing a bit of everything on every weekend, up to moving last weekend. My stuff is still a mess and awaits a proper unpacking, so I don't think I'll be actually finishing DizzyCat any time soon. Argh!

I did get a chance to debut the big purple critter at the Mountain View Spring Parade along with Critters by the Bay. Good ol' Penh as poured a LOT more energy, time and talent into the CBTB pages than I have put into these. Go take a peek!
